Abstract:

Essentials: This study examined the attitudes of class teacher candidates towards social-mobilistic topics and questioning skills and the relationship between these two variables. This study, which uses the relative ta-ram model of Nicel research methods, was conducted with 146 teachers who are studying in the classroom education program of an educational faculty located in the Anatolian Region in the 2018-2019 academic year. In the study, the "Square of Question Skills" developed by Aldan Karademir and Saracaloğlu (2010) and the "Square of Question Skills" developed by Aldan Karademir and Saracaloğlu (2010) were used by the "Square of Question Skills". According to the results obtained from the study, women’s teachers candidates in the lower dimensions of the attitude scale towards social-inflammatory subjects “like social subjects” and “benefit and importance of social subjects” have received higher scores. However, this situation does not have a statistically significant difference. In the lower dimension of the "self-confidence" scale of survey skills, male participants received more weight-seven points. It has been found that there is a positive and middle-level relationship between attitude to social issues and questioning skills. According to the results obtained, recommendations were presented for both researchers and practitioners.
