Abstract:

The minbars, which were one of the parts of Cami architecture, were not an alelade tool in history, which to hear the voice, making the religious officer visible by the community by getting on it alone. In the first place, the Muslims were informed about religious matters, and the work on the administration of the community was spread through the minber. Asr-i Saadet's first sample found joy in minber, then Râşid Halifeler continued to see the same duty at the time. Since the time of the Emmy, the miners have played an active role in the political life, whether in the state administration or in the government. With this period, the minber began to gain a symbolic/terminological character with a series of new political and administrative meanings. The symbolic meaning that is charged with it as a concept has retained its existence until recently, though it has weakened from time to time in the historical process. In the different geographics of the Islamic world and in different dates, the use of minber as a means of political propaganda in the rebel movements is also a matter of effective use. Furthermore, the occurrence of al-Khalifa biat in the minbars and the read of the hutbars in the minbars as a symbol of power is also related to the symbolic/terminological meaning of the political and administrative field in which the minbars are charged. Another of the meanings that Minber has gained in terminology is about Islamic geography. Middle Ages Islamic geographers do not use the word "minber" in their works. The scripts that the mullers record, whether the cities they represent have minbere and the number of minbere they possess, indicate the symbolic/terminological meaning that will be presented here.
