Türkiye’de bir program dâhilinde halk ağzından söz derlenmesi Cumhuriyetin ilk yıllarına kadar uzanır. Derlemeler sayesinde Türkiye Türkçesinin söz varlığının ortaya konmasının yanı sıra yabancı sözlere karşılıklar bulunması, Türkçenin unutulmuş sözlerinin canlandırılması sağlanmıştır. Halk ağzından derlemeler sonucunda Türkçenin söz yapımı, söz dizimi ile Türkiye Türkçesindeki anlam değişmeleri gibi pek çok bilgiye de ulaşılmıştır. Coğrafi ve tarihi derinliği geniş olan Türkçenin ağızlarından derlemeler oldukça uzun bir sürede gerçekleşmiştir. Uzun süren derleme çalışmaları yaygın bilinen adıyla Derleme Sözlüğü adı altında yayımlanmıştır. Bu sözlükte yaklaşık 600 bin madde başı söz bulunmaktadır. Derleme Sözlüğü Türkiye Türkçesinin söz varlığı ile ilgi şimdiye kadar hazırlanmış olan en kapsamlı sözlük durumundadır. Bununla birlikte Derleme Sözlüğü’ne dâhil olmayan pek çok sözün varlığı, genelde “…derleme sözlüğüne katkılar” ifadesi içeren pek çok çalışmadan anlaşılmaktadır. Bu çalışma Osmaniye merkez ağzına ait olup Derleme Sözlüğünde yer almayan ya da yer alıp da Osmaniye merkez ağzındaki anlamı sözlükte bulunmayan sözler ile bazı deyimlerin Türkçenin söz varlığını tespit çalışmalarına katkı sunması amacıyla yapılmıştır.
In Turkey, the wording of the public through a program extends to the first years of the Republic. Thanks to the compilations, the existence of the word of the Turkish Turkish has been revealed, as well as the response to foreign words, the revitalization of the forgotten words of the Turkish Turkish has been provided. As a result of people's mouth compilations, many information has been obtained, such as the word making of Turkish, the word series and the meaning changes in Turkish. Collections from the mouths of the Turkish, which has a wide geographical and historical depth, have occurred for quite a long time. The long-lasting compilation work was published under the commonly known name Compilation Dictionary. This dictionary contains approximately 600,000 articles per word. The Assembly Dictionary of Turkey is the most comprehensive dictionary that has been prepared to date with the existence of the Turkish word. However, the existence of many words that are not included in the Compilation Dictionary is often understood by many studies that include the expression "...contribute to the Compilation Dictionary". This study was done in order to contribute to the work of identification of the existence of the word of the Turkish language with words which are not included or not included in the Assembly Dictionary and which do not contain the meaning of the word of the Turkish language in the dictionary.
