Eğitim Bilişim Ağı EBA ve Deney Destekli Etkinliklerin 7. Sınıf Elektrik Devreleri Ünitesinin Öğretimine Etkisi

Bu araştırmada, 7. sınıf elektrik devreleri ünitesinin öğretiminde Eğitim Bilişim Ağı EBA ve deney destekli etkinliklerin kullanılmasının öğrencilerin akademik başarılarına etkisinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma, Kastamonu İli Daday ilçesinde bulunan bir devlet ortaokulunda öğrenim gören 73 öğrenci ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Rastgele seçilen deney-1 grubunda 25, deney-2 grubunda 25 ve kontrol grubunda ise 23 öğrenci bulunmaktadır. EBA ve deney destekli öğretimin öğrencilerin akademik başarılarına etkisini belirlemek amacıyla deneysel araştırma yöntemlerinden ön-test sontest kontrol gruplu yarı deneysel desen kullanılmıştır. Üç hafta boyunca dersler, deney-1 grubunda EBA destekli, deney-2 grubunda EBA ve deney destekli, kontrol grubunda ise mevcut öğretim programına göre işlenmiştir. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak Elektrik Devreleri Ünitesi Başarı Testi EDÜBT kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizi sonucunda EBA ve deney destekli derslerin işlendiği deney-2 grubu öğrencilerinin akademik başarıları, deney-1 ve kontrol gruplarındaki öğrencilerle karşılaştırıldığında deney-2 grubu öğrencilerinin lehine anlamlı bir farkın olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Fen bilimleri dersi konularının öğretiminde EBA desteğinin yanında deney etkinliklerinin de yapılması önerilmektedir

Abstract:

In this study, it was aimed to investigate the effect of using Education Information Network EBA and experimental supported activities on the students’ academic achievement in teaching 7th grade electrical circuits unit. The study was conducted with 73 students studying in a state secondary school in Daday town of Kastamonu Province in Turkey. There were randomly selected 25 students in experimental-1 group, 25 students in experimental-2 group, and 23 students in control group. To identify the effect of EBA and experimental supported teaching on the students’ academic achievement quasi-experimental design with pre-test post-test control group was employed. For 3 weeks, the lessons were conducted with EBA-supported in experimental-1 group, in experimental-2 group the lessons were conducted with EBA and experimental supported, in control group the lessons were conducted according to the current curriculum. To collect quantitative data, Electrical Circuits Unit Achievement Test ECUAT was applied to three groups before and after the research. According to the data analysis results, when academic achievement of the students in experimental-2 group, in which EBA and experimental supported lessons were conducted, was compared to the other two groups, a significant difference was found in favor of experimental-2 group. It is recommended to use the experimental activities in addition to EBA support in the teaching of subjects in science lessons
