Abstract:

This study aims to study some variables discussed in the undergraduate experimental theses completed in the field of mathematical education in Turkey between 2001 and 2017. The sample of this research, which is preferred by Kota sample method, is written between the indicated years and forms a total of 111 sub-graduate experimental patterns, including 94 at the master's level and 17 at the doctor's level, located in the Master's Science Department of Mathematics Education on the YÖK database. The study is based on six criteria. By calculating the frequency values of the data obtained as a result of the review, the necessary analyses were made. The theses were studied by three researchers specializing in mathematical education in the framework of research questions, taking into account the conformity of the results obtained, the reliability of this study was calculated. In experimental research based on the findings obtained from the theses studied by the meta-analysis method, it can be said that the sample is usually selected from the high school level and the concept of "success" is preferred as a dependent variable. Most of the research has found that computer-supported teaching methods are studied and that the traditional method applied to control groups is not selected according to the current teaching method. It is believed that the findings obtained at the end of this study will give light to the experimental research that will be carried out in the field of mathematical education.
