Avrupa’nın bütünleşmesi ve ortak bir ulus üstü çatı altında toplanması fikrinden Avrupa Birliği’ne (AB) uzanan süreçte Almanya’nın rolü büyüktür. Günümüzde de AB’nin geleceği bağlamında Almanya’nın olası politikaları ve AB içindeki liderlik rolünün ne olacağı kritik öneme sahiptir. Bu çalışma AB’nin genişleme ve bütünleşme sürecinin kısa bir özeti üzerinden Avrupa Komisyonu’nun 2017 yılında ortaya koyduğu gelecek senaryolarını analiz etmeyi hedeflemektedir. Bu gelecek senaryoları çerçevesinde Almanya’nın AB’nin bütünleşme sürecine bakışı ve bu süreçteki rolü incelenecek ve bu bağlamda AB’nin bu sürece etkisi incelenecektir. Böylece kurucu ülkelerden biri olan Almanya’nın Birliğin geleceği üzerindeki etkisi de anlaşılmaya çalışılacaktır.
From the idea of the integration of Europe and the gathering under the roof of a common nation to the European Union (EU) the role of Germany in the process is great. Today, in the context of the future of the EU, the potential policies of Germany and what the leadership role within the EU will be of critical importance. This study aims to analyze the future scenarios that the European Commission has revealed in 2017 through a short summary of the EU’s expansion and integration process. In the framework of these future scenarios, the view of Germany on the EU integration process and its role in this process will be examined and the impact of the EU on this process will be examined. Thus, the influence of Germany, one of the founding countries, on the future of the Union will also be attempted to understand.
