Abstract:

With the momentum provided by the globalization process, there has been a significant increase in international student mobility in recent years. This movement, which occurs often in the English-speaking countries, contributes to the host countries in many economic and cultural areas. Thus, international student mobility becomes interesting for countries and related policies are produced. In this context, Turkey is among the countries where international student mobility has increased in recent years. According to this study, this study first explains the international student mobility in the world. He then studies the mobility of international students in Turkey and Sakarya University. In the second part of the study, analyzing the literature on the problems of international students, we find out in which contexts these issues are discussed. In this study, the problems are gathered under two titles and evaluated in the context of education (academic) and socio-economic (social life) problems. In the study, the face-to-face survey method was used as a data collection technique. After SPSS analysis, the C&A value rose to 0.817. The findings include issues such as lack of orientation, lack of communication, concerns about the nature of education, economic situation, and desire for the scale.
