Tamamlayıcı tedavi metotlarının sağlık bakımı içinde hakkettiği noktada yer almasında hemşireleruygun profesyonel gruptur. Hemşirelik mesleğinin bu süreç içindeki rolü tamamlayıcı tedavi uygulamalarının araştırmaya dayalı bağımsız bir meslek olarak yer almasında bir belirteç olacaktır
Complementary treatments include a wide range of treatment options such as massage, therapeutic touch, aromatherapy, reflexology and acupuncture. Some of these treatments are found in the nature of basic nursing practices. Some also require special training before applying. Many of the complementary therapy methods have similar characteristics to nursing in terms of focusing on the concept of holism. The professional group of nurses is the point in which complementary therapy methods deserves in health care. The role of the nursing profession in this process will be a sign in the inclusion of complementary therapy practices as a research-based independent profession.
