İnsanlığın ilk çağlarından günümüze kadar, çeşitli üretim sistemleri keşfedilmiş ve geliştirilmiştir. Nüfusun artması ile daha fazla üretime ihtiyaç duyulmaya başlanmış ve bunun sonucunda çeşitli endüstri devrimi ortaya çıkmıştır. Günümüzde üretimin seri, standart, zamanında olmasının yanı sıra hizmet sektöründeki işlemlerinde zaman ve maliyet açısından olumlu yönde gelişmeler yaşanmaktadır. Çalışma tarım, sanayi ve hizmetler sektörü olmak üzere üç sektör üzerinden incelenmiş ve çalışmada endüstri devrimlerinin dünyada günümüze kadar ne gibi evrelerden geçtiği, nasıl değişimler yaşadığı ve bu değişimlerin ülkemizdeki gümrük uygulamalarına olan etkileri ele alınmıştır.
Various production systems have been discovered and developed since the early ages of humanity. With the increase in population, more production was needed and as a result, various industrial revolutions emerged. Today, in addition to the serial, standard and timely production, positive changes have been observed in the service sector's operations concerning time and cost. The three sectors that the research looked at were the agricultural, industrial, and services sectors. what kind of phases the industrial revolutions have gone through until today, how they have undergone changes and the effects of these changes on customs practices in our country are discussed.
