Bu araştırmanın amacı, öğrenme güçlüğü ile tanılanmış çocukların ve ebeveynlerinin yaşam kalitesi düzeylerini incelemektir. Araştırmada 120 çocuk ve 120 ebeveynin yaşam kalitesi sırasıyla Çocuklar İçin Genel Amaçlı Sağlıkla İlgili Yaşam Kalitesi Ölçeği (KINDL-R-Kid) ve Dünya Sağlık Örgütü Yaşam Kalitesi Ölçeği-Kısa Formu Türkçe Versiyonu (WHOQOL-BREF-TR) ile ölçülmüş olup; yaşam kalitesi düzeyleri ve bu düzeyler arasındaki ilişki ile çocuk yaşam kalitesinin ebeveyn yaşam kalitesini ne düzeyde yordadığı betimsel ve çıkarımsal istatistiksel analiz yöntemleri ile araştırılmıştır. Bulgular, çocuk ve ebeveyn yaşam kalitesi arasında anlamlı ilişkiler olduğunu ve çocuk yaşam kalitesinin ebeveyn yaşam kalitesini anlamlı düzeyde yordadığını göstermiştir. Elde edilen sonuçlardan yola çıkılarak öğrenme güçlüğüne dair psiko-sosyal ve psiko-eğitsel hizmetler geliştirilirken, başta aile olmak üzere sistem içinde yer alan tüm unsurların dikkate alınması gerektiğini göstermektedir.
The aim of this research is to study the quality of life levels of children and parents known for learning difficulties. The study measured the quality of life of 120 children and 120 parents, respectively, with the World Health Organization’s Quality of Life Measurement-Short Form Turkish Version (WHOQOL-BREF-TR), and the relationship between the levels of quality of life and the quality of life of the child and the quality of life of the child and the quality of life of the child and the quality of life of the child and the quality of life of the child. The findings have shown that there are meaningful relationships between the quality of life of the child and the parents, and that the quality of life of the child has a significant impact on the quality of life of the parents. While psycho-social and psycho-educational services on learning difficulties are developed based on the results obtained, it shows that all the elements within the system, primarily the family, should be taken into account.
