Özet:

Blended learning [BL] is a modern education system that helps students to learn the instruction and content via digital media regardless of time and place. Learners’ satisfaction is an excellence of blended learning. It meets the challenges in integrating the innovation and technological advances accessible by online system. The current study was planned to explore the impact of BL on students’ satisfaction in distance education. All the students enrolled at M. Phil program in distance learning education session 2015-2017 at GC University Faisalabad were the population of study. One hundred and sixty-five students were randomly selected. Data were collected with the help of self-developed instrument, Students’ Online Learning and Satisfaction Survey [SOLSS]. The reliability of the instrument was 0.866. ANOVA and t-test were applied to analyze the data. The results revealed that students took interest and found it more popular and innovative way of learning. However, they complain about the insufficient resources provided to students regarding the blended learning. Most of the students are not aware to use and approach the learning modes of education. The study concluded that male students were more involved in blended learning than that of female students. Male students can better handle technological challenge and innovation resources than that of females. Male students were more confident in learning pedagogy and assessment skills. The distance learning students have no access to modern technology and it is a great barrier towards their learning. It is recommended that modern technology must be introduced and access should be provided to distance learning students.
