Abstract:

In this study, is discussed the “Nahv-i Mîr” that written in Persian by Seyyid Şerîf el-Curcânî (d. 816/1413), who wrote valuable works in the Islamic education system and has a strong interpretation culture. After giving a short biography of Curcânî, was discussed "Nahv-i Mir"'s belonging to him, some studies on it, its content, the purpose of writing, the terms used in the work, the language school that Curcânî is affiliated with, his method, preferences, definitions, methods of bringing evidence and The style of expressing the opinion holders. Because of the original version of the work is in Persian, some mistakes made by comparing it with the Arabic translation have been identified and presented to the researchers. Finally, was given information about some linguists whom Curcânî was influenced during the study. As a result of the study, it has been determined that the style and working method adopted by Curcânî in Nahv-i Mîr are largely similar to the style used by Ibnu'l-Hâcib (d. 646/1248) and Ebu'l-Mekarim Chârperdî (d. 746/1346) in their own works.
