Bu araştırmada, Sosyal Bilgiler alanında vatandaşlık eğitimi konuları üzerine yapılan tezlerin eğilimlerini ortaya koymak amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma, nitel araştırma yaklaşımlarından durum çalışmasına göre desenlenmiştir. Veriler doküman incelemesi tekniğiyle toplanmış; betimsel analiz tekniğiyle analiz edilmiştir. Çalışmanın amacına uygun olarak elde edilen tezler araştırmacıların cinsiyetine, yazıldığı tarihe, yazıldığı üniversiteye, düzeyine, danışman unvanına, yöntemine, çalışma grubuna, veri toplama araçlarına, çalışma grubu büyüklüğüne, anahtar kelimelerine, kaynakça sayılarına, yerli ve yabancı kaynakça sayılarına göre incelenmiştir. Araştırmada elde edilen bazı sonuçlara göre ilgili konu üzerine tez yazan erkek araştırmacı sayısı daha fazladır. Tezler en çok Doçent Doktor unvanına sahip akademisyenlerin danışmanlığında yürütülmüştür. Konuyla alakalı en fazla 2019 yılında tez yapılmıştır. En fazla tez yüksek lisans düzeyindeki öğrenciler tarafından yapılmıştır. Konuyla ilgili en fazla tez yapımında bulunulan üniversite Marmara üniversitesidir.
This study aims to reveal the trends of the theses on the issues of citizenship education in the field of social information. The research is designed according to the status study of the quality research approaches. The data is collected using the document review technique; analyzed using the visual analysis technique. The theses obtained in accordance with the purpose of the study were studied according to the gender of the researchers, the date in which they were written, the university in which they were written, the level, the title of the consultant, the method, the work group, the data collection tools, the size of the work group, the keywords, the source numbers, the domestic and foreign source numbers. According to some of the findings obtained in the study, the number of male researchers who write a thesis on the subject is greater. The theses are conducted in the consultation of academics with the most Doctor's title. The topics on this topic were made in 2019. Most of the theses are done by students at the master level. The University of Marmara is the most disserted university on the subject.
In this study, it is aimed to determine the trends in the Social Studies theses written about citizenship education topics. The study was designed by adopting case study, which is one of the qualitative research methods. The data of the research were collected through document analysis method and analyzed using descriptive analysis. The theses that were obtained in line with the purpose of the study were examined according to the gender of the researcher, the date of publication, the relevant university, the level, the title of the advisor, the method, the study group, the data collection tools, the size of the study group, the keywords, the number of indexes, and the number of native and foreign bibliographies. In accordance with some results of the study, the number of male researchers who wrote their theses about citizenship education is higher. Theses were found to have been mostly supervised by the academicians who had the title of associate professorship. The highest number of theses written within the related subject was in 2019. Most of the theses were submitted by master’s degree students. The institution that published the biggest amount of theses about citizenship education is Marmara University.
