Noise pollution has entered all areas of our lives as unwanted sounds that have negative physical, physiological and psychological effects on mankind. The aim of this study is to measure the level of noise in a primary school, including sample testing, and to evaluate the opinions of teachers on the noise through survey and individual interviews. The study was conducted in a primary school with the appropriate sampling method in the Izmir or Chigli district. Data collection tools have been used as a decimal meter device, teacher survey and researcher observation. There were 26 teachers in the school. Frequency analysis is done with data. The meeting was held with six teachers. Noise measurements show that the level of noise in the school is higher than the 39dB to 49dB values specified in the regulations. According to the results of the surveys and interviews, the vast majority of teachers generally find high levels of noise in their schools. Education should be provided from young age to prevent noise pollution in schools. On the other hand, it is recommended that the relevant institutions take the necessary measures and work to improve the acoustics of the classes in order to ensure hearing comfort in the school. The Ministry of National Education and TÜBİTAK can call for a joint project on the provision of acoustic improvement in the school.
