The period between 1923 and 1950 was a very sensitive period for the Republic of Turkey. All the studies between these years can generally be expressed as the period of "rebuilding" in which, in addition to contributing to internal and external peace, social transformation and economic development plans are centered. These dates, which follow the periods of the establishment of a new state after the war, must be very carefully examined and evaluated. The true story of the Republic of Turkey is hidden within these dates. The young Republic has made a very serious effort to revive the dynamism of the country with its limited but all its strength. On the one hand, the social and economic realities are being identified, while on the other hand, a social transformation is aimed until it reaches the most extravagant corners of Anadolu. The most important element for this work to be done is undoubtedly the population, and the Republic of Turkey has also revealed the principles of this work as the first work to identify the current power. Following the first population counting in 1927 and the periodic population counting usually once every 5 years, the contributions and results of the studies were obtained as a better assessment data. Rize, an accessible center of Anatolia, Eastern Black Sea, is one of the places that gradually takes part in this work. Rize, after the historical reputation of Trabzon and a part of its characteristic, after the decision of the district of Çoruh, the border union with Artvin was considered appropriate and after the end of this union, the boundaries became a particular province. In the article, between 1923-1950 years, Rize, in light of these variables, has the answer to the questions where it has gone from in the population balances, which studies it has used for its own benefit and how these steps have influenced the Rize structure. Because the population is an area where all social realities reflect and find responses. Therefore, the population is considered by the way that the history of Rize, property studies, migration and economic situation can be seen in a picture.

Abstract The years between 1923-1950 the Republic of Turkey is a very sensitive period for the new foundation.
