So many results that aren't mine?

Abstract:

ABSTRACT Objective: This study was conducted to determine university students' attitudes towards environmental problems and the influence of socio-demographic characteristics on it. Method: This descriptive study was carried out with 250 university students that 2007-2008 academic year students attending at the Ege University. The data collection instrument used for the study consisted of the Environmental Attitudes Scale and a socio demografic questionnaire form that contained demographic data. Results: Although 45.2% of the students have stated that they were remarkable to environmental problems, 83.2% of them have not participitated to an activity about any environmental organization. Although student's attitude toward environmental issues differs regarding gender, departments and whether the students took lesson about environment before, attitude toward environmental issues doesn't differ regarding mother's educational level, families' economic status. As a result of university students with environmental groups to increase awareness for environmental problems and the students who were sensitive about the environmental issues to planned environmental education.
