Abstract:

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the certificate programmes organized for teaching Turkish as a foreign language from the point of view of the theory, application, content and functionality of the courses. For this purpose, the opinions of those who receive the Turkish teaching certificate as a foreign language have been applied and the studies on this subject have been studied so far. The study group consists of a group of 15 participants who receive the Turkish teaching certificate as a foreign language from a language teaching center that is identified by the easy-to-access sample method and serves under a university roof. A survey consisting of a total of 32 items, including 2 open end questions, was implemented to the participants. The data obtained through the survey is processed using traditional coding system (betimal coding). The findings have been evaluated in the context of Program Related General Information, Theoretical Courses and Applied Courses themes and subcategories related to these themes.
