Eğitim öğretim sürecine velilerin katılımı literatürde çeşitli yöntemlerle incelenmiş olup, önemli bir konu olarak görülmektedir. Ancak Türk literatüründe öğretmen-veli iletişimini algılamaya yönelik geçerlik ve güvenirlik çalışmaları ile test edilmiş herhangi bir ölçek geliştirilmemiş veya uyarlanmamıştır. Bu çalışmanın amacı Seitsinger (2009-2020)’in geliştirdiği “Öğretmen Veli İletişimi Ölçeği-ÖVİÖ’yü Türk kültürüne uyarlamaktır. Araştırmanın örneklemini Türkiye’nin çeşitli illerinde görev yapan sınıf öğretmenleri oluşturmaktadır. Google form üzerinden öğretmenlere gönderilen ölçeklerden elde edilen veriler çeşitli varsayımlar bakımından incelendikten sonra geçerlik ve güvenirlik analizleri gerçekleştirilmiştir. Ölçeğin madde analizleri ve güvenirlik çalışmaları kapsamında madde-toplam korelasyonları, iki-yarı test güvenirliği, Cronbach alfa ve alt %27-üst %27lik grup ortalama farkları incelenmiştir. Bu analizler sonucunda ölçek maddelerinin madde ayırtediciliklerinin iyi düzeyde olduğu, ölçeğin tamamına ilişkin iç tutarlık katsayısının .93 olduğu ve alt boyutlarına ilişkin katsayıların ise sırasıyla .78, .85 ve .75 olduğu belirlenmiştir. Ölçeğin yapı geçerliğini tespit etmek amacıyla gerçekleştirilen Doğrulayıcı Faktör Analizinde (DFA) ise yine orijinal formu ile tutarlılık gösteren bu üç alt boyut doğrulanmıştır. Araştırma sonuçları Türkçeye uyarlanan Öğretmen Veli İletişimi Ölçeği’nin (ÖVİÖ) öğretmenlerin algılarına göre öğretmen veli iletişimi sürecini belirlemede kullanılabilecek yeterli psikometrik özelliklere sahip, geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçme aracı olduğunu göstermektedir.
The participation of parents in the teaching process has been studied in literature in various ways and is considered an important subject. However, in Turkish literature, no scale has been developed or adapted with validity and reliability studies aimed at the perception of teacher-willi communication. The aim of this study is to adapt the "Teacher Veli Communication Scale-ÖVİÖ" developed by Seitsinger (2009-2020) to the Turkish culture. The examples of the research are made by classmates working in various provinces of Turkey. The data obtained from the scales sent to teachers through the Google form, after examination in terms of various assumptions, validity and reliability analyses were carried out. The measurement’s substance analysis and reliability studies have studied substance-collective correlations, two-half test reliability, Cronbach alpha and the average differences in the group of 27% above 27%. The results of these analyses found that the substance distinctivities of the scale substances were at a good level, the internal consistency ratio for the entire scale was .93 and the indicators for the lower dimensions were .78, .85 and .75, respectively. In the Verification Factor Analysis (DFA) for the purpose of determining the structural validity of the measurement, these three subdimensions, which are consistent with the original form, have been confirmed. Research results indicate that the Teacher's Veli Communication Scale, adapted to the Turkish language, is a valid and reliable measurement tool with sufficient psychometric characteristics that can be used to determine the teacher's Veli Communication process according to the teachers' perceptions.
