Bu makale 17. yüzyıl Osmanlı uleması arasında yer alan Ahmed Rûmî Akhisârî’nin (öl. 1041/1631-32) “Risâle fî enne’n-nübüvve efḍal mine’l-velâye” adlı eserinin tahkik ve değerlendirmesinden teşekkül etmektedir. Eser Akhisârî’nin bazı mutasavvıflara olan sert eleştirilerini içeren ve ilk defa çalışmamızla bilim dünyasına kazandırılan önemli bir eserdir. Ahmed Rûmî Akhisârî söz konusu eserini Muhyiddîn İbnü’l-Arabî’nin (öl. 638/1240) dinî durumunu ortaya koymak maksadıyla kaleme almıştır ki bu mesele 17. yüzyıl Osmanlı Devleti’nde ortaya çıkan Kadızâdeliler-Sivasîler münazaasının ihtilafları arasında yer almaktadır. Müellif buradan hareketle İbnü’l-Arabî’nin ve onun gibi düşünen diğer meşayıhın hatmü’l-velâye hakkındaki görüşlerini reddetmeyi hedeflemiştir. Buna ilaveten o, konuyla ilişkili olan keşf, ilham, Hızır inancı, ricâlü’l-gayb ve kerametler gibi birçok konuyu da ele almıştır. Eleştirilerinde hem üslup, hem de argüman olarak çoğunlukla İbn Teymiyye’den (öl. 728/1328) faydalanmıştır. Risale hakkında yaptığımız değerlendirmede Akhisârî’nin hayatı ve eserleri hakkında kısa bilgi vermeyi ve söz konusu eserindeki fikirlerini geniş bir şekilde ortaya koymayı hedefledik. Ayrıca fikirlerini savunurken hangi mezhebin veyahut âlimin etkisinde kaldığını ve tasavvufla olan ilişkisini ortaya çıkarmayı amaçladık. Makalemizin sonunda ise Ahmed Rûmî Akhisârî’nin “Risâle fî enne’n-nübüvve efḍal mine’l-velâye” adlı eserini tahkik ettik.

This article contains the analysis and evaluation of the book “Risāle fī enne al-nubuvve efḍal min al-velāye” by Ahmad Rūmī Akhisārī (d. 1041/1631-32), an Ottomon scholar in the 17th century. Consisting of his harsh criticism of some sufis, this is an important book which has been introduced to the world of science by our study for the first time in history. Ahmad Rūmī Akhisārī wrote the book in order to present the theological position of Muhyiddīn İbn al-ʿArabī (d. 638/1240), one of the controversial issues of Qādī-zādeli’s-Sivāsī’s discussions emerged in the Ottoman Empire in the 17th century. The author aimed to deny the viewpoints of İbn al-ʿArabī and other sufis who had similar viewpoints on hatmu’l-velāye. In addition to this, he discussed many issues such as invention, inspiration, Khidr belief, rijālu'l-gayb (the men of the unseen) and qarāmāt (miracles) which relate to the topic. He benefited most from Ibn Teymiyye’s (d. 728/1328) tone and argument in his criticisms. In our study, we aimed to give information about Akhisārī’s life and his works briefly, and present his viewpoints on the aforementioned book widely. We also aimed to demonstrate which scholars and sects he was under the influence of and his relation with mysticism whilst he defended his viewpoints. Finally, we analysed Ahmad Rūmī Akhisārī’s book Risāle fī enne al-nubuvve efḍal min al-velāye at the end of our study.
