Günümüzde birçok nedenden dolayı göç eden kadınların sayısı giderek artmaktadır ve süregelen bu artış göç çalışmalarını cinsiyet çalışmalarına yönlendirmiştir. Kadınların göç ettikleri yerde sosyalleşmeleri araştırmalar arasında giderek önemli hale gelse de kadınların sosyalleşmek için sporu bir araç olarak kullanmaları üzerine yapılan çalışmalar yeterli olmamaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, Türkiye’nin farklı bölgelerinden İstanbul’un en fazla göç alan ilçelerinden biri olan Beylikdüzü ilçesine farklı zamanlarda ve çeşitli sebeplerden dolayı göç etmiş kadınların spor yapma sıklıkları ile gelir durumları arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi ve gelir seviyelerine göre etrafındakilerle kurmuş oldukları iletişimin incelenmesidir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda Beylikdüzü Belediyesi Beylicium AVM ve Barış Mahallesi/ Semerkand Spor Merkezlerine üyeliği olan 155 kadının katılımı ile araştırma verileri anket yoluyla toplanmış ve verilerin analizinde SPSS 20.0 paket programı kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda Beylikdüzü ilçesine göç etmiş kadınların gelir seviyeleri ile spor yapma sıklıkları arasında anlamlı bir farklılık olmadığı görülmüştür. Kadınların büyük bir kısmı spor yaparken etrafındaki kişilerle daha çabuk iletişim kurduğunu belirtmişlerdir. Bu iletişimin gelir durumu düşük olan kadınlarda daha fazla olduğu görülürken, gelir durumu yükseldikçe kadınların iletişim kurma oranlarında azalma görülmüştür. Araştırmanın sonucunda, kadınların göç ettikleri yerde sosyalleşmelerinde sporun olumlu bir etkiye sahip olduğu ve gelir durumu düşük olan kadınların spor yaparken etrafındakiler ile daha çabuk iletişime geçtikleri tespit edilmiştir.
Today, the number of women who migrate for many reasons is increasing and this continuous increase has directed immigration studies to gender studies. While women’s socialization is becoming increasingly important among the research, the research is not sufficient on women’s use of sport as a tool to socialize. The aim of this study is to study the relationship between the frequency of sports and income conditions of women who have migrated to Beylikdüzü district, which is one of the most migratory districts of Istanbul from different regions of Turkey, and to study the communication they have established with those around them according to their income levels. With the participation of 155 women who are members of the Beylicium AVM and Peace Mahallesi/Semerkand Sports Centers, research data were collected through an survey and the data analysis used the SPSS 20.0 package program. The study found that there was no significant difference between the income levels of women who migrated to the Beylikdüzü district and the frequency of doing sports. Most women have said they communicate faster with the people around them when they do sports. This communication appears to be greater in women with low income, while the income rate increases and women’s communication rates decrease. The study found that women have a positive impact on their socialization where they migrate, and that women with low income communicate faster with those around them while doing sports.
Nowadays, the number of women migrating for many reasons is increasing, and this ongoing increase has directed migration studies to gender studies. Although socialization of women in the places where they migrated has become increasingly important among researches, studies on women's use of sports as a means of socialization are not sufficient. The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between the frequency of doing sports and their income levels of women who migrated to Beylikdüzü district, one of the most immigrant districts of Istanbul, from different regions of Turkey at different times and for various reasons. In line with this purpose, the research data were collected by questionnaire with the participation of 155 women who are members of Beylikdüzü Municipality Beylicium Shopping Center and Barış Mahallesi / Semerkand Sports Centers, and the SPSS 20.0 package program was used in the analysis of the data. As a result of the research; It has been observed that there is no significant difference between the income levels of women who migrated to Beylikdüzü district and the frequency of doing sports. Most of the women stated that they communicate more quickly with the people around them while doing sports. While this communication was observed more in women with low income, as the income level increased, it was observed that the rate of communication among women decreased. As a result of the study, it was determined that sports have a positive effect on socialization of women in the places they migrate and women with low income levels communicate more quickly with the people around them while doing sports.
