Bu çalışmada, Mîrek Muhammed Nakşîbendî-i Taşkendî’nin Nevâdirü’l-Emsâl (NE) adlı deyimler sözlüğünde bulunan su konulu deyimlerin, Lakoff Johnson metafor teorisine göre incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Nevâdirü’l-Emsâl, Farsça Türkçe yazılmış atasözleri, deyimler ve diğer kalıplaşmış ifadelerin bulunduğu nadide bir sözlüktür. 17 yüzyıl başlarında kaleme alınan eser kendinden sonraki pek çok deyim sözlüğüne kaynaklık etmiştir. Eser, nadir kullanılan deyimlerin madde başı olarak seçilmesi bakımından da bilinen deyimlerin pek de bilinmeyen anlamlarına yer verilmesi bakımından da oldukça önemlidir. Bu makalede NE’de Farsça madde başı olan 6 su konulu deyim ele alınmıştır. Bunların çağrışım alanları, Türkçede kazandığı karşılıklar doğrultusunda kaynak “su” kavramının hangi hedef alanları işaret ettiği sorgulanıp Farsça Türkçe dil ilişkileri ve kelimeler yoluyla, “su” kaynak alanından hangi hedef alanlarına ulaşıldığı ortaya konulacaktır.
In this study, it is intended to study the water-related words in the dictionary of the words of Mîrek Muhammad Nakşîbendî-i Taşkendî’s Nevâdirü’l-Emsâl (NE) according to Lakoff Johnson’s metafor theory. Nevâdirü'l-Emsâl is a rare dictionary in which persian Turkish written speeches, phrases and other formed expressions. In the early 17th century, the work of the pen was a source of many subsequent dictionaries. The work is also very important in terms of the selection of rarely used words as the substance head, as well as in terms of the introduction of very unknown meanings of known words. In this article, we discussed the 6 water-themed words in what the Persian material is headed. These call areas will be questioned which target areas the source "water" concept indicates in accordance with the responses it has gained in Turkish and which target areas are reached from the source "water" through the Persian Turkish language relationships and words.
In this study, it is aimed to examine the idioms about water in Mîrek Muhammed Nakşîbendî-i Taşkendî’s dictionary of idioms Nevâdirü’l-Emsâl (NE) according to Lakoff Johnson's metaphor theory. NE is a rare dictionary of proverbs, idioms and other stereotyped phrases written in Persian Turkish. The work, which was written at the beginning of the 17th century, has been the source of many idiomatic lexicons after it. In this article, 6 water-related idioms, which are the head of the Persian item in NE are discussed. In line with their connotation areas and the meanings they have gained in Turkish, it will be questioned which target areas the source “water” concept points to, and which target areas have been reached from the “water” source area will be revealed through Persian Turkish language relations and words.
