Abstract:

This identificative study was conducted in the Kahramanmaraş Sky District with the aim of determining the levels of knowledge and behavior of patients in the reasonable use of drugs.  The research T.C. The scale "Intelligent Drug Use" created by the Ministry of Health has been used. 173 participants participated in the study. The data was analyzed with the SPSS 21 package program and used the number-percentage calculation, ki-core tests. 69.9% of participants are men (n=121), 30.1% are women (n=52) and in their age distribution 38.2% between 18 and 30 years, 32.9% between 21 and 40 years, 19.1% between 41 and 50 years, and 9.8% between 51 and 64 years. As a result, 49.2 percent of male participants and 46.2 percent of female participants received the drug with a prescription. There has been a significant difference between the gender of the participants and the conditions of providing an anti-small (p<0,05). While 94.2% of individuals inform the doctor or the relevant health staff about the drug they have previously used or if they have chronic disorders, there was a statistically significant difference between the income level and the educational status of the participants and the information conditions (p<0,05). At the end of the study, the participants found that the level of knowledge of the reasonable use of the drug was high and that this finding was compatible with the literature.
