Öğretmenlerin adalet kavramına ilişkin metaforik algıları

Bu araştırmada, Anadolu lisesinde çalışan öğretmenlerin adalet kavramı ile ilgili algılarını metaforlar yoluyla ortaya koyarak belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Buna göre öğretmenlerin adalet algıları arasındaki benzerlikler ve farklılıklar ortaya çıkarılmak istenmiş adalet kavramının öğretmenler arasındaki yansımasının gözden geçirilerek, değerlendirilmeler yapılıp gerekli öneriler bilimsel verilere dayalı olarak sunulmuştur. Nitel araştırmalardan olgu bilim deseni kullanılarak gerçekleştirilen araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, amaçlı örnekleme yöntemlerinden kartopu örnekleme yöntemi ile belirlenen 2018-2019 eğitim-öğretim yılında Bolu ilinde 60 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın verileri, “Adalet... gibidir, Adalet... benzer. Çünkü...” sorularının yazıldığı form ile toplanmıştır. Öğretmenlerin oluşturduğu metaforlar ve gerekçeleri içerik analizi yöntemiyle analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmaya göre adalet kavramı 52 farklı metafor ve 6 kategori altında toplanmış doğanın parçası, cezalandırma aracı, zorunluluk, eşitlik, yol gösterici ve aile olarak adalet şeklinde belirlenmiştir. Katılımcıların adalet algılarının olumlu olduğu görülmüştür.

Abstract:

This study aims to identify teachers working at the Anadolu high school by exposing their perceptions of the concept of justice through metafores. According to this, the similarities and differences between teachers’ perceptions of justice were sought to be revealed; the reflection of the concept of justice between teachers was reviewed, assessments were made and the necessary recommendations were presented on the basis of scientific data. The work group of the research conducted using the factual scientific design from the quality research is 60 teachers in the province of Bolu in the 2018-2019 educational year, determined by the method of sample of the target sample methods. According to the study, “Justice is like, Justice is like. “It’s written in the form of the questions. The metaphors and reasons created by teachers were analyzed by the method of content analysis. According to the study, the concept of justice is gathered in 52 different metaphors and 6 categories; it is defined as a part of nature, a means of punishment, obligation, equality, guidance and justice as a family. The participants’ perceptions of justice were positive.

The aim of this study is to determine the perceptions of teachers working in Anatolian High School about the concept of justice through metaphors. Accordingly, the similarities and differences between teachers ' perceptions of justice were revealed; the reflection of the concept of justice among teachers was reviewed and evaluations were made and the recommendations were presented based on scientific data. The research was carried out using phenomenology from qualitative research patterns. Snowball sampling method was used for teachers working in Bolu province in the 2018-2019 academic years, and 60 teachers contributed to the study. The data of this research was collected with a form where written these expressions: “Justice is like…., Justice is similar to …... Because...” The metaphors and reasons of teachers were analyzed by content analysis method. According to the research, the concept of justice has been grouped under 52 different metaphors and 6 categories. Justice is defined as a port of nature, a tool of punishment, obligation, equality, guide and family. The participants perceptions of justice were positive.
