The aim of this study is to try to determine the level of communication skills of the school managers according to the teacher's perceptions and whether they differ according to the various variables. The research has used a screening model. The sample of the study is composed of 722 teachers selected by the random sample method of teaching in the 2017-2018 educational year of Erzurum or Yakutiye, Palandöken and Aziziye district in primary, secondary and high school. School managers have used the "Communication Skills Scale" adapted to the Turkish by Topluer (2008) developed by Wieman (1977) to measure their communication skills.The analysis of data has used standard deviation from visual statistical methods, arithmetic average, frequency and percentage. Furthermore, because the distribution is normal, t-test and one-way variable analysis (ANOVA) from parametric tests have been applied. The study found that teachers’ perceptions of school managers’ communication skills are at a good level, but there are aspects they need to develop. The study found that there was no statistically meaningful difference between gender, civic status and age variables in communication skills, and that there was statistically meaningful difference between gender, civic status and age variables. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of communication skills of school principles according to their perceptions of teachers and whether it differs according to various variables. A survey model was used. The population of the study comprises teachers working at the primary, secondary and high schools in the central districts of Erzurum in 2017-2018 academic year and consists of 722 teachers selected by random sampling method. In this study, Communication Skills Scale, which was developed by Wiemann (1977) and adapted to Turkish by Topluer (2008), was used. Another finding obtained from the study is that According to teachers' views on communication skills of school principles there was not differ statistically significant according to gender, the marital status and age variables.
