Abstract:

One of the most important functions of the irony that addresses the contradictions of the world in which humanity is, without a doubt, is to provide "consciousness". The irony, which is a double layer "event", is in some texts, and it is in fact a fictional text, while the other fiction is attracted by the parody. The source of the irony and parody we saw in the prehistoric periods has continued to exist until today, with many changes over time. Moreover, these changes are closely related to the form as much as it is related to the internal structure. His son Atay is also one of our artists who are skillfully using irony and parody in their works in the form briefly indicated above. Many of the situations that occur during the period of witnessing are presented to the reader from the window of the irony and parody of a pen with artistic sensitivity. In the possibilities of an arbitrary text, many aspects of human consciousness are solved in this way. In this article, Atay's story "No Yes No" will be tried to be resolved from the point of view provided by irony and parody. His son Atay is also one of our artists who are skillfully using irony and parody in their works in the form briefly indicated above. Many of the circumstances that occur during the period in which his son Atay was witnessing the society and the artist who was born to the world with time, are presented to the reader from the irony and parody window of a pen with the artistic sensitivity that he has studied. Many of the possibilities of an arbitrary text about the consciousness of man are solved in this way. In this article, the story "No Yes No" in Atay's book "When Waiting for Fear" will be attempted to be resolved from the point of view provided by irony and parody.
