Bu araştırmanın amacı; ortaokul düzeyinde öğrenim görmekte olan öğrencilerin beden eğitimi öğretmeni algılarının incelenmesidir. Öğrencilerin beden eğitimi öğretmeni algıları, yaptıkları çizimler (resim) kullanılarak belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Nitel olarak desenlenen bu araştırmada olgubilim modeli ve amaçlı örnekleme yöntemlerinden maksimum çeşitleme örneklemesi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma grubunu Ankara il merkezindeki ortaokullarda 2014-2015 eğitim ve öğretim yılında öğrenim görmekte olan 547 ortaokul öğrencisi oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma verileri toplanırken öğrencilere kişisel bilgi formu uygulanmış ve öğrencilerden beden eğitimi öğretmenini yansıtan bir resim çizmeleri istenmiştir. Veri toplama aracı bizzat araştırmacılar tarafından uygulanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde içerik analiz yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Veriler, belirtilme sıklığı (f) ve yüzde (%) hesapları yapılarak değerlendirilmiştir. Sonuç olarak; öğrencilerin en çok “sinirli bir insan olarak beden eğitimi öğretmeni” (f=54, %10,87), “öğretici olarak beden eğitimi öğretmeni” (f=51, %10,26), “sevgi unsuru olarak beden eğitimi öğretmeni” (f=44, %8,85) ve “olumsuzluk unsuru olarak beden eğitimi öğretmeni” (f=37, %7,44) temalarına ait çizimler yaptıkları görülmüştür.
The purpose of this research is to study the perceptions of the teachers of physical education of students who are learning at high school level. The perceptions of the teachers of body education of the students were tried to determine using their drawings (photos). In this research, which is designed as a quality, the most varied sampling of the objective model and sample methods is used. The research group consists of 547 high school students who are studying in the 2014-2015 educational and teaching year in the central Ankara province. When the research data is collected, students are applied to a personal information form and students are asked to draw a picture that reflects the body education teacher. The data collection tool was applied by researchers. In the analysis of data, the content analysis method was used. The data was assessed by calculating the frequency of indication (f) and the percentage (%) of the data. As a result, the students have seen the most drawings of the themes of “the teacher of body education as a nervous person” (f = 54, 10.87 %), “the teacher of body education as a teacher” (f = 51, 10.26 %), “the teacher of body education as a element of love” (f = 44, 8.85 %) and “the teacher of body education as a element of negativity” (f = 37, 7.44 %).
The purpose of this research is to study the students’ perception of physical education teacher of who study at secondary school. It was tried to determine the students’ perception of physical education teacher by using their drawings. In this qualitative designed research, out of phenomenology model and purposeful sampling methods, maximum variation sampling method was used. The sampling of the study consisted of 547 secondary school students who study at different secondary schools in the center of Ankara in 2014-2015 academic years. While collecting research data, students were asked to fill personal information forms and to draw their physical education teachers. Content analysis method was utilized for data analysis. The data was evaluated by frequency (f) and percentage (%). As a result, it was seen that students mostly made drawings belonging to categories of “teacher as an angry person” (f=54, 10.87%), “teacher as instructive” (f=51, 10.26%), “teacher as a love factor” (f=44, 8.85%) and “teacher as a negative figure” (f=37, 7.44%).
