VÜCUT KİTLE İNDEKSİ İLE EL VE AYAKTA GÖRSEL VE İŞİTSEL REAKSİYON ZAMANLARI İLİŞKİSİ

Abstract:

Bu araştırmanın amacı, vücut kitle indeksi ile el ve ayakta görsel reaksiyon zamanı (GRZ) ve işitsel reaksiyon zamanları (İRZ) ilişkisi olup olmadığını belirlemek, ayrıca el ve ayak reaksiyon zamanları ile görsel ve işitsel reaksiyon zamanlarını karşılaştırmaktır. Araştırmaya vücut kitle indeksi (VKİ) 22.57±2.70 kg/m2 olan, herhangi bir sağlık problemi bulunmayan ve çeşitli branşlarda aktif spor yapan 21.14±1.98 yıl yaş ortalamasına sahip genç erkekler gönüllü olarak katıldı. Katılımcıların boy ve vüxut ağırlıkları ölçülerek VKİ değerleri hesaplandı. El ve ayakta görsel ve işitsel reaksiyonları Ağırbaş ve ark. (2017) tarafından geliştirilen cihaz kullanılarak ölçüldü. Elde edilen veriler SPSS 22.0 for Windows paket programında analiz edildi. VKİ ile reaksiyon zamanları  arasındaki ilişkiyi tespit etmek için “Bivarite - Pearson Correlation” testi ve reaksiyon türlerini karşılaştırmak için Independent Student T testi uygulandı. Sonuçlar .05 anlamlılık düzeyinde yorumlandı. Araştırmada VKİ ile sağ ve sol ayak görsel reaksiyon zamanları arasında anlamlı ve negatif yönlü ilişkiler olduğu, vücut ağırlıkları ile reaksiyon zamanları arasında anlamlı ilişkiler olmadığı ayrıca boyları ile sol el görsel, sol ayak görsel ve sol el işitsel reaksiyon zamanları arasında anlamlı ve pozitif yönlü ilişkiler olduğu tespit edildi. Bu sonuçlar VKİ ile ayak reaksiyon zamanları arasında ilişki olduğunu ve bu ilişkinin, vücut kitle indeksini oluşturan öğelerden olan boydan kaynaklandığını ortaya çıkarmıştır. Son olarak el reaksiyon zamanlarının ayak reaksiyon zamanlarından, görsel reaksiyon zamanlarının ise işitsel reaksiyon zamanlarından daha düşük olduğu tespit edildi.

Abstract:

The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is a relationship between the time of visual reaction (GRZ) and the time of hearing reaction (IRZ) with the body mass index, and also to compare the time of visual and hearing reaction with the time of hand and foot reaction. The study was voluntarily attended by young men with a body mass index of 22.57 ± 2.70 kg/m2, with an average age of 21.14 ± 1.98 years, who did not have any health problems and were active in various branches. The size and body weight of the participants were measured and VKI values were calculated. The visual and hearing reactions of the hands and stands are heavy and arrow. The device developed by (2017) was measured using. The data received was analyzed in the SPSS 22.0 for Windows package program. The Independent Student T test was applied to compare the "Bivarite - Pearson Correlation" test and reaction types to identify the relationship between the reaction times. The results were interpreted at .05 level of significance. The study found that there were meaningful and negative relationships between VKI and right and left foot visual reaction times, there were no meaningful relationships between body weights and reaction times, and there were meaningful and positive relationships between height and left hand visual, left foot visual and left hand hearing reaction times. These findings revealed that there was a relationship between the VKI and the time of foot reaction and that this relationship was derived from the length of the elements that form the body mass index. The time of hand reaction was lower than the time of foot reaction, and the time of visual reaction was lower than the time of hearing reaction.
