Bu çalışma ile okulun şekillenmesinden en önemli unsur olan çevre yani ailelerin okul üzerindeki etkileri araştırılmıştır. Okula veli katılım şekilleri genellikle veli toplantıları ve okul aile birlikleri vasıtası ile olmaktadır. Velilerin okula olan ilişkileri, okulun şekillenmesinde ve sağlıklı bir okul ortamı oluşmasında en önemli unsurlardan biridir. Ailelerin çeşitli nedenlerle okul çevre ilişkisinin öneminden habersiz olmaları, okul aile birliği ve veli toplantılarının olmaması, konuyla ilgili özelikle bu pandemi sürecinde herhangi bir çalışma ve toplantıların yapılmaması okul veli işbirliğini olumsuz etkilemiştir. Ayrıca gerek okul kültürü, yönetici ve öğretmen tutumları gerekse de velilerin duyarsızlıkları okul veli toplantılarını engelleyen konular olabilir. Araştırmada nitel araştırma tekniklerinden olgubilim deseni kullanılmıştır. Çalışma gurubu çeşitli okulların yönetici, öğretmen ve velilerinden kolay ulaşılabilir örnekleme yoluyla seçilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda okul ve çevrenin birbirinden bağımsız düşünülemeyeceği, okulun en önemli paydaşlarının veliler olduğu, velilerin fazla çocuk sahibi olma, eğitim düzeyi ve salgın döneminden dolayı veli toplantılarına katılamadığı, toplantının yapılmadığı yada çevrimiçi olarak yapıldığını belirttikleri ortaya çıkmıştır.
This study has studied the impact of the environment, which is the most important element in the formation of the school, the family on the school. The forms of attendance to school guards are usually through guards meetings and school family unions. The relationship of the parents with the school is one of the most important elements in the formation of the school and the formation of a healthy school environment. The fact that the families are ignorant of the importance of the school environmental relationship for various reasons, the absence of school family unions and guardians meetings, the absence of any work and meetings in this pandemic process in particular related to the subject has negatively affected the school guardians cooperation. It also requires school culture, managerial and teacher attitudes, but the insensitivity of the guardians may be topics that prevent school guardians meetings. The research has been used by the research technique. The workgroup is selected through easy-to-accessful sampling from the managers, teachers and guardians of various schools. The research has shown that the school and the environment cannot be regarded independently, that the most important stakeholders of the school are parents, that the parents are not able to participate in the parents' meetings due to having too many children, the level of education and the epidemic period, that the meeting is not held or online.
In this study the environment which is the most important factor in shaping the school , in brief the effects of families on the school were investigated. Parent participation in school is usually done through parent meetings and parent-teacher associations. Parents' relationship with the school is one of the most important factors in shaping the school and creating a healthy school environment. Parents’ unawareness about the importance of school-environment relationships with various reasons, the absence of school-family unions and parents' meetings, and the absence of any work and meetings, especially during this pandemic process, negatively affected school-parent cooperation. In addition, school culture, the attitudes of administrators and teachers, and the insensitivity of parents may be issues that prevent school parent meetings. Phenomenology design, one of the qualitative research techniques, was used in the study. The study group was chosen randomly from the administrators, teachers and parents of various schools. As a result of the research, it was stated that the school and the environment cannot be considered independently from each other, the most important stakeholders of the school are parents. Parents’ meeting could not be held face to face or it could be held online because of having lots of children, parents’ educational background and most importantly pandemic period.
