Abstract:

With the development of digital technologies, cyber crime and threats have also increased parallel to the increase in people’s access to computer technologies. Generation Z, which is a digital indigenous generation, uses digital technologies more than teachers and parents, but has not the same chance of risks and disadvantages that they may face. The study examined the levels of awareness of digital literature and information security of high school students living in the provinces of Gaziantep and Kilis in the TRC1. Information security awareness is also studied in detail according to the city, gender and class level in which students live. The research finds that there is a positive relationship between students’ levels of digital literature and information security awareness. It is also understood that male students are at a higher level of awareness of information security than female students.
