Abstract:

The aim of this study is to reveal the trends of graduate theses in Turkey related to the PISA exam. According to the purpose of the study, a total of 109 undergraduate theses, which were conducted between 2003-2018, were studied. The method of document analysis, which is one of the quality research methods, has been used in the research. Data analysis method is used by the visual analysis technique, which is the quality data analysis technique. In the study of the theses on PISA, the Publishing Review Form was developed by researchers using the relevant literature. Publishing review form consists of subtitles such as the corner of the research, the field of the research, the subject, the method, the data collection tools, sampling, data analysis techniques. According to the research findings, the most thesis related to PISA was made in 2015 and the most thesis based on university was published at Hacettepe University and Ankara University. When the theses are studied on the basis of research subjects, it is clear that the factors that most affect mathematical literacy and mathematical literacy are discussed and more quantitative research methods are adopted. The most popular data collection tool has been the secondary data collection tools, and the thesis has generally used quantum data analysis methods. At the end of the study, there were recommendations for future research.
