Cevrî İbrahim Çelebi, 17. yüzyılda eser vermiş şairlerdendir. İyi bir eğitim gördüğü kaynaklarda belirtilen Cevrî, şiir yazacak düzeyde Farsçaya hâkimdir. Cevrî Divanı’nın Nuruosmaniye Kütüphanesi 2370 numarada kayıtlı nüshasında 37 adet Farsça rubai bulunmaktadır. Mevlevîliğe intisabı olan şair, bahsi geçen rubailerinde tasavvufi terminolojiye sıkça yer vermiştir. Bu şiirlerinde bazen dünyanın faniliğinden bahsederek insanın Allah’tan başka her şeyi terk etmesi gerektiği konusunda tavsiyeler vermiş bazen de tasavvufta ileri mertebelere geldiğini zannedenleri tenkit etmiştir. Ona göre insan tasavvuf mertebelerinin en üstüne erişmek istiyorsa aklını ve hislerini bir yana bırakmalıdır. Şimdiye kadar Divan üzerine yapılan çalışmalarda bu rubailer ihmal edilmiştir. Bu çalışmada Cevrî’nin hayatı ve eserleri üzerinde kısaca durulacak, rubailerin divandaki yeri ve konusu hakkında bilgi verilecektir. Daha sonra rubailer transkribe edilerek Türkiye Türkçesine aktarılacaktır.

According to him, if one wants to reach the top of the Sufism levels, he should leave his mind and feelings aside. Until now, the studies that have been done on his divan neglected his rubais. In this study, the life and works of Cevrî will be briefly discussed and the place and subject of rubais will be given. Rubais will be transcribed and then will be translated to modern Turkish.
