Abstract:

This study has dealt with the growth of the phenomenon of electronic information crimes, and how its effects crossed the borders of countries, it is no doubt that the revolution of remote communications has changed many of the traditional concepts that were running the helm of life before the dawn of this revolution, so we started to hear about electronic banking operations and electronic government and about Documents, electronic money and electronic signature within the framework of transactions carried out through the World Wide Web (Internet), but the emergence of these new operations necessitated the provision of criminal protection for them against advanced forms of aggression, which may fall upon them by advanced electronic means, but this has shown a major shortcoming in Objective and procedural criminal texts, so that these texts became unable to ensure effective protection of the interests and values that emerged from the telecommunication revolution, because crime is a social phenomenon whose nature and size are affected by economic, social and cultural transformations internationally and nationally. Informatics or electronic, which is one of the biggest negatives left by the information revolution because this For crimes that include in their attacks the fundamental values of individuals, institutions and even states in all aspects of life. Also, these crimes left in the souls a feeling of mistrust regarding dealing and benefiting from the fruits of this new revolution, but the computer system is not always the object of abuse, but rather it is often a means to commit crime, and the danger has increased with the spread of the use of information networks, especially the World Wide Web (Internet). It facilitated the commission of some types of crimes and even their spread.
