Abstract:

In this study, it is aimed to determine teachers’ educational program literacy levels and to examine the differentiation according to variables such as gender, professional seniority, graduation field, educational status, mostly worked residential areas. The method of the research is based on the descriptive scanning method.   The study was carried out with the participation of 158 teachers working in Mardin province in the 2020-2021 academic year, and the "Educational Program Literacy Scale" was used to determine teachers’ educational program literacy levels. The data obtained with the scale were analyzed with SPSS 22.0.  It is important that the results of the research reveal teachers' levels of educational program literacy, as well as highlight the literacy of the educational program, which is a new concept in the field. According to the results of the research, it was determined that the educational program literacy levels of the teachers' and the reading and writing dimensions with their lower dimensions were at the level of "I Agree Very Much". In addition, there is no differentiation between the genders of teachers, the region in which they work, their professional seniority and branches, and the literacy levels of the educational program; a significant difference was found between educational status and educational program literacy levels.
