Abstract:

Situated in the east of the Balkan peninsula and linked to the 19th century Edirne State's Fribeship, the Tatarpazari Casas is a settlement where steel production is intensely carried out, which is important in terms of economic activities. In the geography of Bulgaria, it is necessary to be close to the Philippines, but because it is founded in the Merich basin, it has different characteristics from many accidents centers in commercial and circular terms. In the Balkans, like most settlements, the Tatarpazari also shows ethnic diversity. In the accident center of 31 neighborhoods, along with Muslims, Christian Bulgarian, Armenian and Jewish households live alongside and form part of the economic life. In the process of reconstruction along with Tanzimat, in 1844 the Temettüât calculations began to be made to identify the actual payment power of persons and to make arrangements according to the tax burden. The objective of the study is, through the Temettüat calculations made in the mid-19th century, to study the professional structure, agricultural activities, income sources and levels of income, to reveal the differences between ethnic/religious division and income distribution between Muslims and non-Muslims.
