The objective of the current study was to examine the rejection sensitivity as a moderator between resilience and self-efficacy among clinical patients of Cancer, Thalassemia, Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) and Diabetes. The sample consisted of 360 clinical patients (age ranged from 15-85 years) who were selected using purposive sampling technique from different hospitals of Islamabad, Lahore and Gujrat, Pakistan. The resilience, self-efficacy and rejection sensitivity were measured by using Brief Resilience Coping Scale, General Self-Efficacy Scale and Adult – Rejection Sensitivity Questionnaire in Urdu language. Findings of the study clearly indicated a statistically significant positive correlation between resilience and self-efficacy (r=.629**, p<.01) whereas statistically significant negative correlation between resilience and rejection sensitivity (r=-.342**, p<.01), and rejection sensitivity and self-efficacy (r=-.363**, p<.01). Further, moderation analysis determined that rejection sensitivity with the interaction of the self-efficacy influenced resilience (.005, p≤.01) among clinical population. So, dealing with the rejection sensitivity in patients and improvement in their self-efficacious abilities to cope with the illnesses, resilience power can be enhanced.
