Öğretmenlik Kariyer Basamakları Üzerine Yapılan Lisansüstü Tezlerin İncelenmesi

Abstract:

Araştırmada Türkiye’de 2004-2014 yılları arasında öğretmenlik kariyer basamakları üzerine yapılan tezlerin doküman analizi yöntemiyle incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmada bu konu hakkında YÖK Ulusal Tez Merkezinde yer alan tezlerin eğitim alanında olanlar ile sınırlandırılmıştır. İncelenen tezlerin yılına göre, tezlerin özet durumuna göre, tezlerin kullandıkları veri toplama araçlarının geçerlilik ve güvenirliği kontrol edilip edilmediğine göre, araştırmanın yöntemine göre, araştırmanın modeline göre, araştırmanın örneklem grubuna göre, araştırmanın örneklem büyüklüğüne ve seçimine göre, veri toplama araçlarına göre, veri analiz tekniklerine göre, incelenen tezlerin faydalandıkları yerli ve yabancı kaynak durumuna göre değerlendirilmektedir. Araştırmada incelenen tezlerde elde edilen bulgular yüzde ve frekans dağılımına göre yorumlanmaktadır. İncelenen tezlerin sonucunda, kariyer basamakları konusunda güncel çalışmaların olmadığı, kariyer basamakları konusunda örneklem grubu olarak öğretmenlerin tercih edildiği, araştırma yöntemi olarak nicel araştırma yönteminin fazlaca kullanıldığı, evrene en iyi şekilde ulaşmak amacıyla örneklem büyüklüğünde 350 ve üzerinde kişilerle çalışıldığı, veri toplama aracı olarak araştırmacılar ölçek ve ankete yöneldiği, incelenen tezlerin büyük çoğunluğunda veri toplama araçlarının geçerlilik ve güvenirlik çalışmalarının araştırmacılar tarafından yapıldığı, veri analizi tekniğinde t testi ve anova kullanımının yaygın olduğu, yerli kaynak kullanımında yeterli olmasa da yabancı kaynak sayısına oranla fazla olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bu araştırma sonucunda elde edilen bulgular doğrultusunda; konu hakkında doktora çalışmalarının artması, yabancı kaynakların sayısının artması, basit tesadüfi örneklem dışında diğer örneklem seçimi yöntemlerinin de uygulanması, faydalanılan kaynak sayısını attırılması önerilir.

Review of Graduate Theses on Teaching Career Stages

Abstract:

The research was aimed at studying the theses on the teaching career stages in Turkey between 2004-2014 with the method of document analysis. The research on this subject is limited to those in the field of education of the theses found in the YÖK National Thesis Center. According to the year of the examined theses, according to the summary of the theses, the validity and reliability of the data collection tools used by the theses are not controlled, according to the method of the research, according to the model of the research, according to the sample group of the research, according to the sample size and selection of the research, according to the data collection tools, according to the data analysis techniques, according to the state of the domestic and foreign sources in which the examined theses are benefited. The findings obtained in the studies are interpreted according to percentage and frequency distribution. As a result of the examined theses, there are no current studies on the career stages, teachers are preferred as a sample group on the career stages, the quantum research method is used too much as a research method, the sample size is 350 and more people working in order to get to the best of the universe, the data collection tool is the scale and the survey, the majority of the examined theses are the validity and reliability of the data collection tools are done by the researchers, the data analysis technique is widely used and the use of anova is not sufficient in the domestic use. According to the findings obtained from this research, it is recommended that the increase in the doctoral studies on the subject, the increase in the number of foreign resources, the application of other methods of sample selection, in addition to simple random sampling, and the number of resources used.

According to the year of the dissertations examined, according to the summary status of the theses, the validity and reliability of the data collection tools used by the theses are checked, according to the method of the research, according to the model of the research, according to the sample group of the research, according to the sample size and selection of the research, according to the data collection tools, according to data analysis techniques, the theses examined are evaluated according to the domestic and foreign source status they benefit from. The findings obtained in the theses examined in the study are interpreted according to the percentage and frequency distribution. As a result of the theses examined, there are no current studies on career stages, teachers are preferred as sample group on career stages, quantitative research method is used as a research method, and 350 and more people are worked with sample size in order to reach the universe in the best way, As a data collection tool, researchers are directed to scale and survey, validity and reliability studies of data collection tools are carried out by researchers in the vast majority of the theses examined, t test and anova use in data analysis technique is widespread, although not sufficient in domestic resource use, it is determined that it is more than the number of foreign sources. In line with the findings obtained as a result of this research; increasing the doctoral studies on the subject, increasing the number of foreign sources, other sample selection methods besides simple random sampling, it is recommended to increase the number of resources used.
