So many results that aren't mine?

Okul Müdürlerinin Kullandıkları Güç Türlerinin Temeline İlişkin Öğretmen Algılamaları: Fenomenografik Bir Araştırma

Max Weber gücü, “bir kişinin direnmelere rağmen kendi iradesini gerçekleştirebilme yeteneği” olarak tanımlamıştır. Bu bakımdan güç fenomeni önemlidir. Bu fenomenografik araştırmanın amacı, kamuya ait okullarda görev yapan öğretmenlerin ifadelerinden yola çıkarak, bir okul müdürünün güç temeline (kaynağına) ilişkin kaç farklı algılama olabileceğini, bu algılama yollarının öğretmenler üzerindeki etkileriyle birlikte ortaya koymak ve ortaya konulan algılamaları ilgili alan yazın çerçevesinde incelemektir. Bu araştırmada, nitel araştırma metodolojisi kapsamında fenomenografi deseni tercih edilmiştir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 2017-2018 eğitim öğretim yılında Malatya ilinde görev yapan 20 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Çalışma grubunun oluşturulmasında maksimum çeşitlilik örneklemesi yaklaşımı esas alınmıştır. Araştırma bulguları sonucunda bir okul müdürünün güç temelinin dokuz farklı şekilde algılanabileceği görülmüştür. Bu araştırma, okul yönetimi sürecinde esas alınan güç temellerinin öğretmenler tarafından nasıl algılandığını ortaya koyan bulgularıyla müdürlere okul yönetiminde etkili güç temellerine ilişkin sağlıklı bir perspektif geliştirmeleri bakımından fayda sağlayabilir.

Abstract:

Max Weber described the power as "the ability of a person to realize his / her own will despite the resistance." The power phenomenon is important. The purpose of research is to reveal how many conceptions of a principal can be related to the basis of power (source), to show the effect of different ways of conception on teachers and to examine perceived conceptions in the context of the relevant field. A phenomenographic design was used within the scope of qualitative research methodology. The research covers 20 teachers (The study group was selected by maximum sampling approach.). As a result, it was seen that the power base of the principles was perceived in nine different ways. This research can provide benefits to principles in developing a healthy perspective on effective power foundations in school management with the findings of how teachers perceive the foundations of power in school management process.
