Abstract:

Playing games is one of the most fundamental rights of children in the world. In addition, the role of children’s games, the preservation of cultural accumulation and social textures, which are the main means of play, in the transmission and continuity of them between generations, is of great importance for civilizations. The provisions of the Universal Convention on the Rights of the Child, which is the guarantee of the rights of the child in universal power, are also considered to be serious about these aspects. Turkey’s children’s games are also actively investigated from the perspective that they may be important points of contact with the rights of the child, in light of the provisions of the Universal Convention with global acceptance, the aim is to determine the conditions in which the Turkish children’s games, which are a national (cultural) accumulation element, are warning with the rights of the Turkish children. Research is the study of an area designed in accordance with the quality research approach. In the study, 1677 kinds of Turkish children's game, internally studied. The games that are studied in the contract axis have been drawn up under eight titles. As a result, the games showed warning to the provisions of the Contract at various points. In this direction, findings have been revealed that the development of social awareness of Turkish children's games can create positive outcomes in what direction.
