Abstract:

Economic science had adopted a style that did not take into account expectations until recently. However, the experiences obtained show that the economic, social and political expectations of individuals as an economic decision unit affect the process of developing economic policy. Turkey's economy, also have specific experience gained through the economic expectations .For example, although the policies implemented before 2000s were correct for the purpose of reducing inflation, they did not succeed due to lack of expectations on decision-making units. While creating an economic policy, expectations are important in terms of their realization and affecting policy processes. Gained over the economic prospects of the decision unit of Turkey's economy, there are certain experiences. For example, although the economic policies implemented before 2000s were correct policies for the purpose of reducing inflation, they could not be successful due to the lack of expectation on decision units. As a result, within the scope of this study, which was written to emphasize the importance of expectations in the economic policy combination, annual economic growth performance of Turkey's economy on the 2019-2021 period, , the annual economic growth rate, covering the 1961-2018 period, predicted by the ARIMA model through the time series, about the future course of Turkey's growth potential of economic decision making unit is intended to have an idea.
