Abstract:

In this study, the aim is to determine the opinions of teachers candidates for the Public Staff Selection Exam (KPSS). Study is an imaginary work in the scan model. In the theoretical framework of the study, the literature on the subject was used In the study, the data was collected through the "KPSS Opinion Survey" form developed by the researchers. The survey form was applied to 432 teachers candidates from various age groups that are preparing for the Public Staff Selection Exam (KPSS), with graduation status, gender and exam entrance numbers different. The likert type scale feature in the survey has been used a five-degree scale. Frequency and percentage calculations have been made. The study finds that the public staff selection exam (KPSS) is an important obstacle that teacher candidates must overcome in front of them, and that teachers candidates have a negative impact on their psychology and social life. More than half of teaching candidates have also found the idea that the degree graduation average should also be included in the calculation, along with the KPSS as the appointment criterion. Based on the results of the research, various recommendations have been made. The results of the research were discussed according to the relevant literature.
