Abstract:

The aim of this study is to identify the problems of our educational system and the suggestions for solutions to these problems through the news reflected in the media according to the opinions of the teachers candidates. The semi-structured form prepared for this study, which was conducted with the status study of the qualification research methods, was applied to 168 teachers candidates, the data obtained from 152 teachers candidates were analyzed. The data is analyzed by content analysis. The main topic of the problem most expressed by the teacher candidates is violence in education, the issues related to the educational policies, the issues related to the teaching profession, the issues related to the changes to be made within the framework of the 2023 educational vision, the problems related to the inequality of opportunities in education, the problems related to higher education, the problems related to the teaching programs, the problems related to the respect of personal preferences and other problems. The main topic of the solutions proposals most expressed by teachers candidates is the development of educational policies and it is determined that it follows, respectively, the awareness of society, the development of employment policies, the updating of educational programs, security, effective education management, teacher factor, family factor and democratic education.
