Abstract:

The aim of this study is to create a qualifying assessment scale that will distinguish insurance agents that have provided specific quality criteria through universal and measurable standards from other insurance agents. While the quality differences between the agencies are written by the industry actors and the visual press and the industry's corner writings are often spoken, a study has not been produced to reveal this. The main objective of this study is not to distinguish the agents in good - bad or qualified - unqualified forms. The goal is to identify a single top target and create an assessment scale in which those who reach it can have the "5 star agency" certificate. In the process of data collection of the study, the support provided by the Turkish Chamber and Exchange Association has been used by two-stage semi-structured conversation technique and the qualifying competences that agents should have and their importance weights have been calculated.
