Abstract:

Until recently, children and youth concepts have been used to replace each other, but today youth literature has begun to be assessed in a different field than child literature. With the entrance of the concept of youth into literature, youth publications were also required to be assessed. The beginning of these periodic publications dates to the 19th century. The mirror of the period in which each of the temporary publications was published can be accepted. Looking at the periodic publications affected by the social, cultural, political events of the period, it is possible to identify the interest, expectations and values of the target audience he addresses. When the magazines published from Tanzimat are evaluated, it is seen that children and youth magazines are prepared for the world of children. and II. In the periods of legitimacy and national struggle, the magazines that addressed young people depending on the events of the period increased, and in the writings the love of the country and the nation was sought to be vaccinated. During the first years of the Republic, the publication of the magazine was suspended for a period due to the Harf Inklip. In the subsequent process, magazines are placed on the basis of the adoption of the principles of the Republic. The general atmosphere of the magazines of this period is aimed at adopting the national-state understanding. In the youth magazines published in the 70s and 80s, the influence of political events is clearly felt. From the 90s, magazines that address the world of young people are prepared on the issues they experience. In this study, the youth magazines published from Tanzimat to the present have been discussed sociologically from the concept of youth. For this purpose, the target audience of youth magazines and the publications of the magazines have been studied according to the publication policy.
