“Yabancılara Türkçe öğretimi konusunda Türkçe yayımlanmış bilimsel çalışmaların bibliyografyası ve doktora tezlerinin Diller İçin Avrupa Ortak Başvuru Metni bağlamında analizi” adlı yüksek lisans tezinden yeniden gözden geçirilip güncellenerek üretilen bu çalışmanın amacı, yabancılara Türkçe öğretimi konusunda 2020 yılına kadarki süreçte Türkçe yayımlanmış bilimsel çalışmaları tespit edip bunların içerik alanlarını belirlemek doktora tezlerini Ortak Başvuru Metni bağlamında analiz etmektir. Nitel bir çalışma olarak desenlenen bu çalışmada veri toplama yöntemlerinden doküman incelemesi kullanılmıştır. İki bölümden oluşan bu çalışmanın birinci bölümünde YÖK Tez, çeşitli üniversitelerin ve dergilerin veri tabanlarından 2020 yılına kadar yayımlanmış tezlere, makalelere ve bildirilere ulaşılıp bunların içerik alanları belirlenmiş, elde edilen sayısal veriler tablolarla sunulmuştur. Çalışmanın ikinci bölümünde alan yazınında doktora tezi çalışması sayıca fazla olduğundan yıl ve konu sınırlaması getirilmiş, 2013-2019 yılları arasında (2019 dâhil) temel dil becerileri konusunda yayımlanmış 9 doktora tezi Ortak Başvuru Metni bağlamında analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmalar sonucunda, en fazla çalışmanın makale düzeyinde yapıldığı belirlenmiştir. Tüm bilimsel çalışmalar incelendiğinde, konu bazlı en fazla çalışmanın materyal geliştirme konusunda yapıldığı belirlenmiştir. Analiz çalışması kapsamında ele alınan doktora tezlerinin Ortak Başvuru Metni’nin dil öğretim amacına, öğrenici boyutuna, öğretici boyutuna ve ölçme değerlendirme anlayışına uygun hazırlandığı tespit edilmiştir. Son olarak, alanın gelişimine katkısı olabileceği düşünülen önerilerde bulunulmuştur.
The aim of this study, which is reviewed and updated from the master's thesis "Bibliography of Turkish published scientific studies and the analysis of the doctoral theses in the context of the European Joint Application Text for Languages", is to identify and determine the scientific studies published in Turkish in the course of Turkish teaching to foreigners until 2020 and their fields of content; to analyze the doctoral theses in the context of the Joint Application Text. This study, designed as a qualitative study, used the document review of data collection methods. In the first part of this study, which consists of two sections, the YÖK thesis, from the database of various universities and magazines to the theses, articles and reports published until 2020 and their fields of content are identified, obtained numerical data tables. In the second part of the study, the number of doctoral thesis studies in the field text was too much and the subject limit was brought, 9 doctoral thesis published on basic language skills between 2013-2019 years (including 2019) was analyzed in the context of the Joint Application Text. The results of the research have found that most of the work was done at the article level. When all scientific studies were studied, it was determined that the most subject-based research was done on material development. The doctoral theses discussed within the framework of the analysis study have been found that the Joint Application Text is prepared in accordance with the purpose of language teaching, the student size, the teaching size and the understanding of measurement assessment. Finally, there are suggestions that are thought to be a contribution to the development of the area.
The purpose of the current study produced from the master’s thesis entitled “Bibliography of the Scientific Studies Published in Turkish on Teaching Turkish to Foreigners and Analysis of the Doctoral Theses within the Context of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages” is to determine the scientific studies published in Turkish on teaching Turkish to foreigners up to 2020 and then to analyse their content areas and to analyse the doctoral theses within the context of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. In the current study designed as a qualitative study, document analysis was used as the data collection method. In the first part of the current study consisted of two parts, theses, articles and papers published up to 2020 were reached from the Thesis Centre of the Higher Education Council and databases of different universities and journals and then their content areas were determined and the obtained numerical data are presented in tables. In the second part of the study, as there are a lot of doctoral theses in the literature, limitations were set on the topic and time period and thus a total of 9 doctoral theses published in the period between 2013 and 2019 (including 2019) on the topic of language skills were analyzed within the context of Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. As a result, it was determined that the highest number of studies was published as articles. When all the scientific studies were examined, it was found that the highest number of studies was conducted on the topic of materials development. The doctoral theses analyzed were found to focus on the following dimensions of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages: language teaching, student, teacher and measurement and evaluation. Finally, suggestions thought to contribute to the development of the field were made.
