Abstract:

This research has been carried out with the aim of determining the teaching skills of the 4th-class teachers candidates studying in different programs. Nicel research was carried out in the framework of this field scan method. The universe of research constitutes teachers candidates studying in the teaching of Turkish, Pre-School, Social Information, Mathematics, Science, English, Computer, Class and Body Education at the Faculty of Education of a state university located in the province of Amasya. Based on the volunteering, 284 final class teachers form a sample of candidates. The Curriculum Study Approach, developed by Yılmaz and Orhan (2011), has been used as a data collection tool. The data obtained from the applied scale was analyzed with an appropriate statistical program, assessed in terms of gender and section. In the deep and surface subcategories of the scale, gender and section variables have been evaluated. The result was that there were no significant differences between the scale and the points received according to the gender variable. When evaluated by the variable point of view, it was determined that there were differences between some parts. It has been determined that math teacher candidates differ from other fields in terms of deep approach, class and social knowledge teaching is different in terms of surface approach. In addition to the teaching candidates as well as primary, secondary and secondary school students, the determination of the course study approaches is believed to contribute to the organization of educational conditions.
