19. yüzyılda bir gelenek halinde devam eden cami duvarlarının benzer süslemeler kullanılarak kalem işi süslemelerle zenginleştirilmesinin İzmir İli’nin Ödemiş İlçesi’nde de sürdürüldüğü görülmektedir. İzmir İli Ödemiş İlçesi Bademli Mahallesi’nde bulunan Kılcızade Mehmet Ağa Camii; harim kapısının üzerinde yer alan kitabesine göre H.1226/M.1811 tarihlidir. Lübbey Camii, ise tarihi bilinmemekte olup, XIX. yüzyıla ait olduğu tahmin edilmektedir. Her iki yapı da Osmanlı dönemine ait olup, ait olduğu dönemin sanatsal özelliklerini bünyesinde barındırmaktadırlar. Duvar resimleri, her iki camide de son cemaat mekânlarında, mihrap nişlerinde, pencere açıklıklarının aralarında, harimde, kapı ve pencere aralarında, üst katta mahfil bölümlerinde bulunmaktadır. Kompozisyon çeşitliliği gösteren bu duvar resim örnekleri, döneminin estetik beğenisine göre düzenlenmiş olup, geçmiş dönemlerde gerçekleştirilen yeni eklemeler ve onarımların izini de bünyesinde taşımaktadırlar. Osmanlı Devleti’nin geç dönemlerine tarihlenen söz konusu yapılarda görülen duvar resmi örnekleri; ağırlıklı olarak stilize bitkisel, geometrik, yazı, natürmort, Mekke, Medine ve Kâbe tasvirleri, günlük kullanım eşyalarından verilen kesitleri içermektedir. Anadolu’nun diğer illerinde söz konusu dönemler arasına tarihlenen yapılarda görülen süsleme unsurlarına ender de olsa karşılaşmak olasıdır. Bu makalede; 19. Yüzyıl Osmanlı Geç dönemine ait; Kılcızade Mehmet Ağa Camii (H.1226/M.1811) ve Lübbey Camii’ne ait yapılarda bulunan duvar resmi örnekleri; konu, üslup ve malzeme açısından sanat tarihi disiplini içinde detaylı olarak ele alınmıştır.
In the 19th century, it is seen that the enrichment of the mosque walls that continued in a tradition using similar decorations with the decorations of the pen work was continued in the Payed District of Izmir. The Kılcızade Mehmet Ağa Camii, located in the Bademli district of Izmir, according to his book on the harim gate, dates from H.1226/M.1811. Lübbey Camii is unknown in the history of the XIX century. It is believed to belong to the century. Both buildings belong to the Ottoman era and host the artistic characteristics of the time it belongs to. The wall paintings, both in the mosque and in the last congregation spaces, in the mosquitoes, between the window openings, in the harem, between the door and window, in the upper floor of the mosquitoes. These wall painting samples showing the variety of composition are arranged according to the aesthetic desire of the period and carry the trace of new additions and repairs carried out in the past periods. The wall official examples seen in the respective structures dated the late periods of the Ottoman State; mainly in the style of plant, geometric, writing, naturmort, Mecca, Medina and the Cave paintings, the cuts given from the items of daily use. In other regions of Anadolu, it is possible to encounter the decoration elements seen in the structures dated between the respective periods, though rare. In this article, 19. It belongs to the late Ottoman era of the century; Kılcızade Mehmet Ağa Camii (H.1226/M. 1811) and the wall-formal examples found in the structures of the Lübbey Camii; subject, style and material in terms of art history discipline were detailed.
It is observed that the enrichment of the walls of the mosque, which has continued as a tradition in the 19th century, with pencil ornaments by using similar ornaments, was continued in Ödemiş District of İzmir Province. According to the inscription on the gate of the sanctuary Kılcızade Mehmet Ağa Mosque located in Bademli Neighborhood of Ödemiş District of İzmir Province; dates back to a.h.1226 / a.d 1811. Lübbey Mosque, whose date is unknown, is predicted to belong to XIX. Century. Both buildings belong to the Ottoman period and contain the artistic features of the period. The wall paintings are found in both mosques in the last congregation spaces, in the chancels, between the window openings, in the sanctuary, between the doors and windows and in the upstairs sections. These wall paintings, which show a variety of compositions, are arranged according to the aesthetic taste of the period and carry the traces of new additions and repairs carried out in the previous periods. The examples of wall paintings seen in these buildings dated to the late periods of the Ottoman Empire, mainly contain stylized vegetative, geometric, writing, still life, depictions of Mecca, Medina and Kaaba, and cross-sections of daily use items. It is possible to come across the ornamental elements seen in the buildings dated between these periods in other provinces of Anatolia. In this article; the wall paintings belonging to late 19th century Ottoman and found in the buildings of Kılcızade Mehmet Ağa Mosque (A.H.1226 / A.D.1811) and Lübbey Mosque have been discussed in detail in art history discipline from the perspective of the subject, style and material.
