Abstract:

The financial crisis that began in the United States in 2008 affected all countries and reached the international level. In the first phase it was seen as a mortgage crisis, but later it reached the size of the financial crisis and has been affected by this crisis in in Turkey as in other countries. In order to identify the effects of the financial crisis, the study has studied the impact of real-sector enterprises on the profitability and financial structure ratio depending on the crisis. As a variable in the study, variables such as financial lifting rate, profitability rate, employment capital and company size have been used, and the financial data of 125 transactioned in the BIST and operating in the real sector have been studied between 2007-2010. Due to the effects of the financial crisis period, foreign resources rate has been significantly increased, especially short-term foreign resources rate. In addition, with the determination of the negative impact of the financial lifting on profitability, it has also been achieved that this impact increases further during the crisis period.
