Abstract:

In the summer of the field, because teachers do not have a scale to measure their research literary skills, this study aims to develop the "scale of teachers' research literary skills assessment". The universe of research is formed by teachers in primary and secondary schools in Turkey in the 2017-2018 educational year. The scale was applied to 527 teachers selected by random sampling method. The material created by the pool was presented to the opinion of experts. The opinions of the field experts were taken with a triple rating consisting of the "suitable", "partly suitable" and "not suitable" options. The first state of the scale in the likert type 5 is 66 and the last state of the results of the analyses is 26. For the validity of the measurement, the analytics of the detective-verifying factor and the total correlations of the material are calculated. To ensure the reliability of the measurement, Spearman Brown, Gutmann Split-Half techniques, Cronbach α values are calculated. The analyses made have shown that the developed scale is valid and reliable.
