Abstract:

18. Modernism, which began in the century with Illumination, lasted until the beginning of the 20th century and evolved in the axis of globalization; the effort to spread the cultural life and values judgments that will cover the whole world by turning the fact of modernism and globalization of Western societies into opportunity to other nations, II. It ends with the outcome of the World War. After the Cold War, especially when it comes to the 1960s, the environment of modernism changes, and this change also shows its impact on the artistic structures. After the Western modern art, which claims to be universal, claims that it is itself at the center of the universe and that the arts of the cultures left beyond this center do not have their place in this universe, the artists have questioned the hierarchical modern art concept, and have argued that every culture must be included by man. Thus, in today’s art, a milestone, eclectic, postcolonial and multi-democratic structure has emerged, embracing all cultures with the inner dynamics of the phenomenon of globalization. In the modernism-postmodernism axis, which forms the contents of the research, the esthetics globalized in the context of the internal dynamics of globalization, the revealed data has been addressed through a wide source. The findings obtained are explained with examples of images, a general assessment of the subject is shown in the result section.
