Abstract:

Geography science, which studies the relations between man and space with basic principles such as distribution (publishing), relationship building (middle interest/connection), causality (cause-resultat), thanks to its multidisciplinary characteristics has an important place in the translation of many values, skills and achievements to students. Geography education is especially important for the growth of conscious generations who know the importance of their own geography and can possess it. However, the prerequisite for possession of its geography is to educate individuals who know the potential of the geography in which they live. The world has become a global village, especially 21. In this age in which the century has now gone out of being a global village and has become a global home, it is very important to give students a variety of values and achievements in geography teaching with various materials. The materials to be used in geography teaching will make learning fun and durable by contributing to a better understanding of the importance of geography experienced and improving the quality of education. This study discussed ArcGIS Online technology, a web CBS application with a cloud computing infrastructure. Example Web Applications created with the ArcGIS Online application are associated with the skills, values and achievements included in the secondary school geography course (CDÖP) curriculum. CBS’s significant achievements and achievements in geography teaching have also been found in various research prepared on this subject. This situation can happen much faster with the simple, easy and applicable infrastructure of the web CBS. With the use of the Web CBS in geography teaching, the geography course increases the interest and curiosity of students and becomes more pleasant, enabling the growth of individuals capable of analytical, critical and spatial thinking, the many skills, values and achievements specified in the CDÖP can also be provided with meaningful and lasting learning by allowing the student to be transferred to students.
